Design Bridge Applications Ready Now

现在，中国境内开办设计专业的院校将有机会申请加入 AIGA 中美设计桥。AIGA 北京办公室计划协助中国的设计院校与美国的设计机构 (包括大学、设计系、AIGA 分部，以及专业工作室) 建立固定的关系。每座 "桥梁" 代表了来自双方的长期承诺——意在令每一位参与者通过充分体验不同的文化、分享资源、 拓展机会，促进两种文化之间的相互理解。

AIGA 中美设计桥将对所有的申请院校一视同仁，帮助他们获得国际交流的机会，而这样的机会此前大多只能由沿海地区、具有一定规模且资金充足的院校获得。此外，从长远来看，此类交流将帮助中国的设计院校与美国 "站在同一个起跑线上"，帮助中国与中国的设计教育融入世界设计经济体系。详情请参见 “项目” 一栏。   
 

Institutions that teach design in China are now invited to apply for AIGA China Design Bridge relationships. The Beijing office of AIGA plans to facilitate dedicated relationships between Chinese design institutions and U.S. design entities (universities, design departments, AIGA chapters, professional studios). Each “bridge” will represent a long-term commitment on both sides—enabling mutual understanding by exposure to different cultures, sharing resources, and expanding opportunities for everyone involved.  

These AIGA China Design Bridge relationships will provide universal access to international exchanges that are often only attainable by coastal, large or well-funded institutions in China. Furthermore, in the long run, such exchanges will “level the playing field” between Chinese and the U.S., helping to bring China and Chinese design education into the world design economy.
